Congratulations to our Director, Kaye-Maree Dunn, for her well-deserved recognition as a Kaiāwhina at the Te Hapori Matihiko Awards, honouring her dedication and contributions.

We are thrilled to announce that Kaye-Maree Dunn has been awarded the Māori Entrepreneur of the Year at the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Awards hosted by The Global Entrepreneurship Network New Zealand (GEN NZ).

MEA, Te Whare Wānanga o Awanuiārangi and NZTech worked together to map the Māori technology sector. The benefit of this work is to provide a clear insight into the challenges, barriers and opportunities Māori are facing in 2023 and beyond and to understand what is needed for Māori to thrive in the technology sector.

MEA had partnered with Te Wānanga o Aotearoa to deliver a digital literacy programme, Kanorau Digital, to marae around Te Tai Tokerau.
